ELECTION RULES & ETHICS POLICY
ELECTION RULES - BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors shall consist of nine (9) Directors, provided, however, the number may be changed at any time by an amendment. A Director will serve for two years and then be subject to reelection. There is no limit to the number of terms a Director may serve. A Director must be a homeowner in the Shorecliffs housing tract.
In November of each year, the President of the Association will name three members of a Nominating Committee, one of who will also be delegated as Chairman and the designated committee will be instructed to present a slate of nominees as the number is needed, to replace directors whose term of office will expire at the next annual meeting. Current Directors whose term is up may also run for reelection.
The voting can be done by mail or in person on the day of the Annual Meeting which is held on the 2nd Monday in January at 6:00 pm.
At the beginning of each new term, the Directors, current and newly elected, will nominate and elect the following officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
